Be mindful of your teammates. Don't give it away to the crew that it's a wizard or nuclear round too early. Talk to your comrades, and be as cooperative and helpful as you can.

Just have metal foam create a metal foam floor tile in addition to a wall when on a space tile.

I haven't actually played a vamp round as of the most recent update, but it seems to of greatly improved things. (I'd link to the changelog on the wiki here, but it hasn't updated yet.)
