implement less strict rules akin to assday
#31
Exactly how much laxer can the current rules get, though? The current rules allow you to get away with almost anything short of random murder/functionally ending someone else's round for no good reason. Removing that restriction pretty much just turns it into ass day.

I just want to space a janitor for being an asshole with the buffer.

Okay a janitor with a buffer trying to make the floors wet can go fuck themselves. But back then if you could space them for slipping a few tiles and forgetting to dry them is kinda fucked.

First-of-the-month AnCap RP day.

Back then Janitor was treating as a troll job then it was a real role by the players. Everyone round you had one asshat wetting the floors in front of medbay, Security and Airlocks. Back then you could slip and go flying out a airlock and die. So back then being the mob that the community was we just beat them to death and spaced them for it. Street Justice.

For the most part all was forgiven if they would use the "Wet Floor" sign.

Today if a Janitor is using the buffer to wet the floors for shits and giggles then I pull them off stun them, beat them, take their fancy rubber shoes and throw them in the trash.

I would support a motion to include a special clause in the rules for assholes with buffers.

Don't know about you guys but last ass day i found myself becoming bored extremely quickly, and not because I was dying, more often than not i was one of the players that survived until the shuttle. It just gets really boring when the hallway around medbay gets set on fire, you survive up until the shuttle by beating in the skulls of anyone you see, then the remaining players all kill each other on the shuttle and the round ends, and it's this every round for 24 hours.

This, I had fun playing gang mode despite a fun hating head of security/crew going around killing every gang member, although that may have been because our gang "signature move" was "piss bombing" the station with fire extinguishers.

That's honestly how the Opening Post came off to me honestly.

Isn't that redundant?

some degree of redundancy is good, it acts as a failsafe and increases durability

Don't we all want that?
