More variety in crates

Give us wendigo or shambler arms, the extremely powerful gun which name I don't remember, t3 gems, extremely potent omega weed. It would be more useful/fun than 2 voltrons.

Yes.

That's a godawful idea.

There's a damn good reason those are typically admin and stocking only.

They're stupidly overpowered.

i guess more rcds and supplies of matter cartridges might be a decent mid-to-high-level treasure

I've gotten shartloads of best-level-quality gems from some kind of crate before, the kinds that sparkle

One of the second tier unmarked crates should contain an NPC staff assistant or two. There's a market for 'em.

Shit any body parts would be cool, wall safes already contain skulls. Crates of limbs and gibs would add a lot of flavor to the kind of unsavory stuff being peddled.

Now there needs to be some balance for mobs in the crates because people like to open them on the station, and someone could abuse powerful mobs by releasing them intentionally. Wendigo is probably the worst it should get besides drones maybe. Any mobs that can instakill should be off limits.

Speaking of instakill though a fun top tier crate item would be a spare captain's ID....both the real and the classic "fake" versions. Have a 50/50 chance of it being either one, and dare staff assistants to pick one up!

What about 1 or 2 nifty gene injectors? It would give the Geneticists a reason to interact with the outside (injector trade).

We're talking about adventure crates, not surplus crates.

if a crate contained more crates id be disappointed unless the inner crates were likely to contain much better shit. its basically doubled protection

Put a BFG 8999 that does 1 damage and makes it look like Christmas.

God those things have legitimately fooled me into thinking they were just shitlers. I've arrested them and lectured them before realizing my mistake.

A friendly version of them would be a nice reward though. One that just follows you around, attacks things that attack you, and can carry stuff for you. Ya know, like a real assistant?
