If the 2-3 staffies want access to an area, they should be incentivized to obtain access through other means and discouraged from just bashing it in.
Relying on literal bruteforce should be
an absolute pain in the ass as it defeats the purpose of gearing up (getting the tools necessary to hack in or bring a wall down) and interacting with other players (speaking to the HoP, finding/stealing an access level ID)
As others have brought up, it feels like the best option would be to buff the breaching hammer (and probably breaching charge?) and leave the door health as is.

They still exist, so they could be given repairs and returned to an operating state.
Would mean that permanently deleting a door would still either take a ton of time or a lot of firepower, as per the current methods, but allow a focused, uninterrupted effort to maybe eventually break past a door.
I like the idea of this. Doors aren't completely destroyed, saving the problem of replacing them. You still need to do a good bashing to get in, but your efforts can still be repaired. This would also fix the nukie breaching charges being useless vs doors and give them a chance of breaking them open (then getting fixed to help with defense).

Gearing up is still a vastly superior option to turn every door from 40 seconds of bashing to 2~ seconds of hacking.
At the moment people wordlessly raid the item storage areas/bust into mechanics and blatantly steal tools with no regard for law or player engagement.

Good change IMO, though after it’s done it would be nice to have a way to repair and fix them easier.
If you want to bash down a door you still need insuls anyway due to the shocks, and at that point not having a crowbar, screwdriver and wirecutter is almost a stylistic choice.
