A new genetic mutation. - Grek - 08-10-2016

You know how geckos detach their tail when they're afraid and regenerate it over time? There should be a mutation that does that with spaceman butts. Any time the character does the *scream emote, they have a 50% chance of their butt plopping off and (if possible) wriggling away in a random direction for a while. Any time the character lacks a butt, they have a 0.01% chance each life cycle to grow a new one.

You could give a couple of monkeys this and paranoia and use it to harvest butts for the roboticist or the chef or what have you.

Yeah, sure... monkeys...

0.01% is pretty ridiculously low though.

Even 0.1% would have a hard time rolling 1:1000 odds

0.01 per life cycle, so an average of 3 minutes 33 seconds for it to grow back.

which is reasonable enough.

Mind you, it'll take a lot of monkeys/clowns/staff assistants/griffers to get a decent butt outflow

RE: A new genetic mutation. - misto - 08-10-2016

space hermit crabs that dwell in the severed butts and scuttle about

RE: A new genetic mutation. - sartorius - 08-10-2016
