i am of the belief that glass airlocks should be able to be busted open and allow you to shift the internal electronics around and crawl through with a high risk of cutting yourself open because you just crawled through a little tunnel of broken glass like an idiot

they wouldn't be very effective airlocks if they were easily broken

If they're made of glass they arn't going to be effective anyways.

I'm in support of this idea. It'd require new sprites for busting the dang things, but I feel like it might be worth it. And the breakable kinds of airlocks are the ones that are common access anyways, like the ones in central hallways.

The glass sliding doors, sure. It'd be the only way to deal with them since you still can't screwdriver them open to hack. But the glass airlocks should be sufficiently sturdy to resist anything short of high explosives.

Yeah, I don't think glass-airlocks should be breakable, mainly because station access is balanced around the idea that you need to hack them if you don't have access, and the balance for station atmosphere also assumes that most doors on the station are going to remain closed and sealed.
