Shock (medical condition) is not being applied/missing
#1
Shock is currently not rolling for a chance to be applied once someone hits ~100 combined damage.

This is leading to a lot of individuals lasting a very very long time in crit, as their total damage must exceed 150 before they can start rolling for a chance to acquire cardiac failure; if someone just hit 100 damage, they they don't have to worry about starting to roll for cardiac failure until their damage hit 151 (or higher); assuming you took no damage at all, that's roughly 3 minutes of 'soft crit' before having to worry about anything.

While I realize some of that is intentional and has been in for a very long time, the lack of "shock" is allowing players to last a very long time in crit without any repercussions.

As it stands people die very easily. I like having the chance of being able to go to medbay and being healed before you die, giving the medbay personnel more of a point then healing just bruise/burn and the occasional person that got into shock from inside medbay.

I just got this to happen so shock is still there and working.

I managed to get it to proc today, too, but only with low blood--wasn't able to proc it with brute/tox/oxy/burn alone.

To be fair I shot myself into crit and waited to see how it would react.

I think shock was recently changed to respond to blood loss

This. And it wasn't too recently either.
Personally i'd like to see shock in more situations, but that's a suggestion more than a bug.

Yes, the shock ailment can occur due to severe blood loss only.
