I like this place and it keeps giving up little hints and things. It's pretty devoid of anything else.
The actual place itself in the game is titled Drone Corpse, the center is a Drone Control Core or Drone Computer Core full of still very functional server racks.
When you roll on in you realize the entire place was automated except for one maintenance syndie, he's dead in his quarters but it doesn't look like he had a chance to take the cyanide pill right next to him.
In place you'll also find a plasma tank and an oxygen tank. All doors can be freely opened in there by the AI (I believe, I was in there earlier in my core and shell) except for the two leading to the control room.
In the drone factory there's logs about a drone treating everyone as friendly, one firing endlessly, etc. Is the Drone Corpse sentient? Was it sentient? Was it evil? Do the plasma and oxygen tanks exist because the maintenance person was planning on blowing up the core but rigged the doors so it couldn't be locked out?
We should probably blow up those servers.
