Lately meteors just haven't been that much of a disaster. None of them seem to get very far in or cause much damage, and with how big the new map is it's pitifully easy to repair the damage done. I would suggest upping the ante on meteors, at the very least giving them more durability so they can break things further into the station. Like way way way further.
Here is another suggestion

I remember on Cog1 that if meteors hit certain parts of the station (say, the bar, or the main hallway that formed the C shape) things were going to get really bad (and really funny) really fast

How about some small meteors that don't break up and instead just shoot straight through the walls and anything in their path.
Or big ole slow moving ones that you need to jump into a pod and blast them to bits before they reach the station?

maybe we can afford to let meteors be strengthened if a way to re-air rooms effectively after repair is ever discovered, but not before that

yeah I considered mentioning that too
breaches are still wombo horrible and it's nigh impossible to re-oxygenate rooms
i find myself wondering if there's some method that everyone is forgetting besides using a hi-cap oxygen tank

ive been thinking about proposing some way for chemists to make air bombs and rescuing the station from airlessness with their inexhaustible supplies of liquid oxygen from chem dispensers

Erebite meteors that cause explosions maybe, giving pod people a good reason to shoot them before they hit the station.

I don't really miss meteors. I mean I LOVED meteors, but the lag they caused wasn't worth it. Even after they got changed.
It sounds weird, but blobs kinda took their place. Instead of meteors or singularities it tends to be blobs that signify 'Oh well it's probably a good time to get out of here now'. If meteors could be made non-laggy I'd love to have them 'back'. I like Frank's idea though - small meteors that tear right through the station. It's really sad how you could take a meteor 20-times your size on the chin and walk away with a epi injection.
