Make it possible to burn corpses as plague prevention tactic.
Why did that statement immediately bring to mind Plague Doctor outfits for traitor Medical Doctors, or the Head Surgeon if that position were to come back?

So I'd like to formally request that, when pathology is fully implemented to munchermap, whatever job gets access to pathology can use all their crystals to get a Plague Doctor outfit (with the weird beak mask and everything) along with some deadly disease. The Black Plague maybe.

Might be OP, but in that case just give them access to the outfit and let them dick around with pathology hoping they make their own pandemic-level virus.

That outfit thing exists on the /tg/ builds and yeah it's neat.
Injecting a dead body with synthflesh should restore a body enough for genetics to clone it depending on how old it is.

Bonus points if injecting lots and lots of synthflesh changes your DNA to that of the plant so clones become food instead of people.
I was talking about that stuff they use to cover cyborgs.

I just figure if there's a gameplay issue make it so that the worse the body is, the more horrifying the result of cloning could possibly be.

E.g Player has space cancer, is a cluwn, or has a second head.

Clone has built-in gray jumpsuit and attempts to put on any other jumpsuit end in fire.
Clone is missing an arm.
Clone has a middle arm.
Clone takes toxin damage from [insert non-dangerous medicine here].
Clone requires alcohol to survive.
Clone is heavily addicted to [insert substance].
Clone spawns in critical condition.
Oxygen is toxic to clone.

i get a disability from the cloner 100% of the time as it is. please no
I'm not saying every clone should get space cancer, only the guy who was unlucky enough that they used synthflesh on his body to make it cloneable meterial.

Brand new DNA from who knows mixing with impartial dna to either render the dead person effectively screwed for life or hopefully fixable with a intellegent geneticist.

E.g Injecting synththflesh or bicardine or whatever it's called, and getting a less rotten corpse that is still a really dumb idea to clone as a result. Ideally the clone should be cloned as soon as possible, but if the corpse is falling apart, someone could hopefully salvage it with an emergancy injection of synthflesh to hold the body together and fill in DNA gaps with horrifying concequences.
Sounds like a good idea, it would be cool to have the ability to bring back that dude who was spaced five minutes in, and this gives a clear risk/reward factor.
That is an awesome idea imo
On a related note, I made some sprites for cloner malfunction people recently. Haven't implemented them in game yet, but I will eventually. Not gonna show 'em here, but they definitely look deformed.
Another idea that might not be stupid.

Portable DNA scanner, Makes scanning dead people much more convenient, but still requires a disk to hold the dna for transfer. Good for dna scans where the body needs to be kept in a safe place for item retrieval.

Also it could probably require two disks for both SE's and UE's or whatever.
Let us take off our gloves and then slap people with them
Let us wear shoes on our hands to increase speed but decrease ability-to-hold-objects-whatsoever.

How do I feet?

this reminded me to ask why anyone would ever run slower with shoes off(i certainly don't in real life) and suggest that it stop being a thing. getting cut up by glass is enough of a disadvantage by itself
