Currently anything you throw is just going to deal a small amount of brute. Why not make them deal more damage based on size/weight, make them hit random body parts (instead of always the chest) and so forth? It'd be kind of handy to have a chance to stop a crazy guy by throwing a jetpack at him or something.

I feel thrown sharp objects like knives and glass shards should maintain the bleed they deliver and have a chance to become shrapnel in the persons body upon contact

Knives should be able to be pulled out by hand but cause massive bleeding if you do.

I think knives should have a chance to do damage, but also an equal chance to just hit them with blunt end and do nothing.
