Being able to use a glass shard is INCREDIBLY dumb. It turns a broken window into an incredibly powerful murder tool.

Yes but those are all things that can be fixed. Loss of blood is insanely easy to fix if you know what you're doing, unless you're in a high-pressure situation with people actively trying to murder you at that moment.

This is an insta-kill. More than just a powerful debilitation, it's death. More than death, it's the loss of the ability to be borged or cloned (at least I think cloned it has been a while since I tried to clone a brainless corpse) because some guy stunned you, cuffed you, and had a glass shard in his pocket. I know that once you're stunned and cuffed that's usually game over, but at least make them work for it.

Point being an insta-kill is not needed.

I got stabbed with a glass shard 4ish times in the bar and it put me at a bleeding level where the messages I was getting went from "you're bleeding" to "welp there goes all your blood" in about 10 seconds. I made it about halfway to the medkits in that little room next door before my heart stopped.

Despite everything that's been said, the only thing that comes to mind is slam-dunking the captain's head through the hoop in a particularly fatal pick-up game.
