Makes an area noir. Don't really know what that'll entail quite yet but Cogwerks thinks it'll probably be a hazy sepia overlay. Personally, I'd love it if it could drain color and dim lights.
Detective gun does double damage inside the noir field and anyone wearing the full outfit randomly monologues and resists stuns.
Am immobile version starts inside the detective's office and the range will include the jazz lounge and the hall outside. Don't fight the detective on his home turf.
I don't think it should be electronics scannable.
Traitor item: portable noirfield generator, 6 telecrystals. Detective only. Comes with an extra suit (not the gun) in a box.
Same thing as the one in your office, only portable. Offers the same buffs. Bulky item.
