instead of contraband / weapon permits being handled by the HoP, let security issue "type" permits with a new chip that attaches to an ID, like gun (energy) permit, gun (kinetic) permit, scrap permit (for the new scrap weapon contra PR), etc.
(and maybe a syndie tool to steal / remove the chip to move to another ID, perhaps your agent ID)

Prescription glasses have a chance to fly off the wearer’s eye slot if a certain amount of brute damage is taken, the chance to fly off scales with the amount of brute damage.
Why? Makes negative traits MORE NEGATIVE and I think it’d be funny and probably look cool in certain instances
(Additionally could update the glasses sprite to be broken once knocked off the wearer)

I like this, it's cool. Helmets or gasmasks and other face-shielding items should negate this though, not for balancing reasons just cause you can't punch someone in the face so hard their glasses clip through physical objects. Also you'd probably only want the chance to apply on head-targetting hits. Otherwise it's a good idea and they should add it, it adds more flavor to fighting and goonstation really lacks that.
