Burn new feature : burn cloth / ignite player who TOUCH burning target/ flameble
#1
Type : Game feature / Machanic
Description : allow game to have more feature about burning more fun i add some few example idea on here
1. Burning cloth
As it name when you are on fire your cloth /gear has chance to burn into dust the % increase depend on how fire cover your body which significant change gameplay and combat for player
2.Interact burning target might burn player
Keep touching burning target without protection could burn hand player
These will able to use in antagonist / doctoring to have some basic knowledge for more game interact
And have low chance to burn yourself since flame is contactable
3.Flameable gear have vary in fire resistance allow the high fire resistance to not flammable and some chemical like oil able to cover the cloth to increase flammable chance

That are some idea in love fire in my head if anyone interest in comment feedback please take in bullet to easier to read thankyou

1 - i'm gonna be honest, i HATE the idea of clothes burning. if your jumpsuit alone were to burn off, that means your PDA / ID, belt AND pocket items are instantly dumped off of you (and maybe set on fire subsequently). not to mention getting a hat or something you were making your character gimmick around / the cool gear you got from debris field exploring or an azone get literally destroyed because science mishap / dickhead with a welding tool / rogue ai plasmafiring the station yet again would be way too frustrating to outweigh the pros

2 - this already happens. trying to put out a person on fire without the appropriate fireproof gloves (i.e. black gloves) deals mild burn damage to you

3 - i can barely understand what this means

I read this as "Certain clothing (Fire Fighter Suits, Space Suits, etc) have enough fire resistance where they either get damaged very slowly or not at all where the risk of it burning away is negligible or non-existent

Maybe I'm just old fashioned and classic minded, but I think bad things happening to you is a part of the experience of the game. Your gimmick getting ruined by some jerk is a part of the game. It's supposed to get you riled up and thinking of ways to get even with said jerk, because that creates conflict and a narrative builds through dramatic tension. You walk away from the game with a memorable experience.

But, I also think avoiding these frustrations through planning and cooperation is also part of the experience. A chem that makes your clothing burn proof would be an example of something like that.
