Crash gamemode for real

Crash is pretty rare to see, it's a "gamemode" made with a few admin commands and essentially just a terrainify shift with no station. I think it has real potential as a gamemode, most likely still admin spawned but possibly player created like disaster? Anyway, I'm planning on trying to add this myself so this post is mostly to gather more ideas and potentially hear if admins don't want this.

My current idea of how it would go: 
  • Everyone starts on station and the gamemode automatically progresses through the crash visuals instead of needing an admin.
  • Land map could be less random with a base template that the code 'paints' set dressing over. 
  • A pool of enemies is picked based on the terrainify landed on. 
  • Crew are given a grace period to gather themselves, find a spot to make base and begin building. Captain/Command will likely be given a flag or something to designate where the base is. 
  • Waves begin spawning in, starting small and growing as the round progresses. Creatures either spawn in around and go for the flag or spawn near-ish people, more for the more people nearby so stragglers don't get swarmed.
  • After 20-30 minutes, a McGuffin is spawned on the map. This by default will likely be something that allows for a shuttle to be called down, maybe adding an item into the flag, but it's possible there could be different win conditions for different terrainify types. 
  • Supplies are dropped occasionally near the base flag. Barricades, medical supplies, generators, machine frames possibly. 

I'd love ideas for this in general but in particular I wanna hear what people think the win condition could be (if different between map types) and if there could be any special waves or planet types. I'm thinking like fermids (all of the funky types of them), monkey wave etc.

i already in to it after u said make crash be real game mode
and about condition to activate it i suggest something similar to Solarium condition (or may be add to Solarium)
OR! condition is relate to S.W.O.R.D. the old boss feature machanic
why? because it might good for lore since your shuttle will damage and crash into it.
OR! special shuttle call which need specific floppy disk / need all head authorities for “ Emergency landing”

I like the thought of it being triggered through azones like solarium stuff yeah, though I doubt there's a single azone that would fit slotting that into. It would probably be best if a whole new one was added or a secret event is needed to trigger by going through multiple azones similar to sol. Alternatively, maybe it could happen if nukies win a round?

i like the idea of crash being triggerable, i really like the construction system and getting to mess with it to build a real fortress is something i love to do but don't get enough excuses to do so
the win condition could also involve pooling some resource dropped by enemies into the construction of a beacon, which lets you call a shuttle

I think the conditions for CRASH should be simple:
Do not make it something that can be triggered in a round.. people will exploit it. Like for example... antags blow up the station with a nuke, triggers crash.

Insted I recommend this: "It depends on how well each round goes that when a certain treshhold of good station rounds happen, will it trigger that round."

<But wouldn't this make antags less willing to heavily antag?>
This is a possibility. But... I rather tie it into people playing the rounds good.

Base on Kotol suggest is kinda good should relate to how good station are which depend on which side we focus on
- survival : no people dead yet? Trigger it
- productivity : station too rich ? PTL too good ? Trigger it
-Research : Enough artifact research ? Complete solarium ? Trigger it
