There's been a lot of good work lately in modifying how melee combat works, I thought shotguns could use a bit more work in their ammo types
First, ammo types. Here's what we have now
First, ammo types. Here's what we have now
- Slugs: Good all around, do good damage, knock you back, single projectiles
- Rubber slugs: Similar to the above, only less lethal
- Flares: Less brute damage, but sets you on fire. Nice varietion on the standard rounds
- Buckshot: Comes out as two projectiles that travel together for a 2 tiles, then one projectile offsets either to the left or right of the middle. Each shot does less damage than a slug, with no knockback but a stun
- Birdshot: Comes out as three projectiles that travel together for a 1 tile before one projectile offsets to the left or right, then another tile before the second projectile offsets to the side. Has much lower damage, no knockback, and no stun
- Rubber pellets: Same as birdshot, only less lethal
- Rocksalt: Comes out as 4 projectiles, 3 of which offset after traveling 1 tile, then again after traveling 3. Does no damage or stun, but does have knockback and stamina damage. The Barman's shotgun ammo is replaced with this. Leaves trails of salt across the ground where the blast traveled
- Cryo Slugs: Like flares, only it incases the target in an ice block instead of igniting them. Compatible with Flare Gun
- Electro Slugs: Like taser shots, but with a bit of brute damage" Compatible with Flare Gun
