I just spent my third devil chaplain round getting eaten immediately after a yeti spawned. It's kinda shit, especially since this one wasn't even ten minutes in.
If there was a little more time to get away from someone before you turned into yeti food, it wouldn't feel like a suicide contract.

The Chaplain shouldn't be killed by their own contracts IMMEDIATELY upon using them, that's just bad, and not even a funny kind of intentional. I agree with Tech here, if this is a bug then please fix it. If this is an oversight then please fix it. If this is a feature it's bad.

You should take adequate caution when you're handling that contract because it does two things:
a) Outright kills a person.
b) Spawns a very robust critter that will definitely fuck up the crew if let loose.

I'll admit it's knee jerky, but honestly, Dying less then ten minutes in cause you used your traitor item the right way is kinda dumb. I can understand not making them friendly to the chaplain cause that would overpower them, but that's just silly.

Making it a yeti-grenade and not a yeti-suicide-bomb doesn't seem like much to ask, but I have literally no experience with this item so grain of salt all this shit.

Just get them to sign it while not standing next to you.

The problem with that is you can't force people to sign it without dying. They have to sign it willingly. You shouldn't be forced to be a friendly neighborhood traitor because you rolled the yeti contract.

yes this is a problem but there is always the option of just not using the yeti one, or leaving it around somewhere with a spare pen if you can and hoping someone signs it

Also people holding contracts when they sign them has a tendency to eat both the contract and the pen.
