far as im aware the welder's code (being mport code) is broken to fuckery in about six million different ways and probably just needs excising from the code outright

the welder implementation is hilariously dumb, the ghosting thing works horribly (why couldn't he just reuse the code from set observe?) and once you return to life you lose all the welder abilities
