Minor Drones messing up antag objectives

If an antag dies, ghost drones up, then escapes on the shuttle and arrives at Centcomm as a drone, then they still get the 'escape alive' objective completed.

By the same token, if your target ghost drones it up and escapes on the shuttle, you fail the objective for killing them.

I've been wondering recently if the whole ghost-drone thing is just a bit of a crap gimmick for dead people to use.

I wasn't aware it messed with objectives though. That needs looking into.

I can add that I once got the "hijack the shuttle, escape as the sole survivor" objective once under the same conditions. In fact, I think have a screenshot of that round on my computer at home.

That seems excessively rude about a cool feature that gives dead people something to actually do. Maybe you'd prefer just rotating chairs forever like before, or better yet you can eat all my fucks.

If the timing is what I think it is I think his response came after a round where there was like 10 drones going around and one or two were doing some borderline questionable things.

Anyhow that's enough of me trying to advocate. Ghost drones are fun!

Can confirm, being a drone still counts as being alive for the purpose of antagonist objectives, and I am pretty sure it also effects ghost critters now.
