Not a gimmick, more of a rampage kit, but if you buy a shotgun and 4 macrobombs/3 macros and a freedom implant it makes for a awesome all out last stand.

One of the more underused items (in general): tracking implants from telesci. Grab the box from telesci, implant someone and you have a hapless victim you can torment from afar/a mobile ally you can always jump to if you mindslave them beforehand.

In addition, items tossed through the teleporter will spark upon being teleported, heating up ten degrees. Chem nerds are free to use this information as they see fit.
