impliment clockwork cupcake's new sprites IMMEDIATELY they are AWESOME and I can't fucking tell the difference between the ores on the current sprites AT ALL

These are pretty dang good. Especially in comparison to the other asteroid sprites.

I'll second the implementation of Clockwork's sprites, but I feel there should be a bit more to distinguish between gold, pharosium, and syreline first (mostly gold and syreline). If you've played for a bit, you'll probably be able to tell, but having people, even first-timers, being able to tell at just a glance, would be even more beneficial.

Overall though, great job; definitely better than the current sprites!

Gold is worth jack shit on the QM's markets, fix this.

A couple of minor things related to the mining updates:

1) There's a missing pipe between the air hookups and QM foyer.

2) The extractor rig is still available from the mining fabricator. I assume this is an oversight, because all of the associated upgrades have been removed.

3) The description for the robotics crate (QM) still lists the digbot, even through the shipment doesn't contain one anymore.

As a random suggestion, would it be possible to give the Mining crate the QM can order a laser drill instead of a powered pickax? As it is it's kind of useless and there's no reason to bug a QM for it.

Pretty sure it carries a power hammer.

Power hammers have the same strength as concussive gauntlets now, but they only have 30 charge.

Ah, welp. That explains that. I thought they were just for weakening, I didn't think you could actually bust asteroids open with them.

Ugh, I meant to mention this when it happened a couple of days ago, but completely forgot. I don't think anyone's brought it up here, maybe it's been mentioned elsewhere?

Anyways, a meteor shower hit the mining magnet side of the station and tore through the dense asteroid which was at the magnet. I wish I grabbed a screenshot, but the remains of the asteroid were all floor tiles and sheet metal.

There don't seem to be any asteroids populating the mining z-level, and what few asteroids I found on other z-levels were all completely rock with no ores.

I understand with the magnet there's not as much reason to go out mining in space but as a mining borg you're completely outclassed by human players now with the ore scoop so I thought I'd go find ore out there.
