It was played too straight man. If you really wanted it to come off as a joke, you have to make it a little more over the top. Example: WHAT! Fedoras are the PERFECT headgear for ANY occasion! I'm with Weavel, that's a good idea.

My issue is that this "*tips fedora/Euphoric" thing is a meme, some dreg of internet comedy dug up from reddit or tumblr or something. Whether fedoras suck or not it's a stupid meme and the description for the fedora itself already comes with a condescending enough message to emphasize what a piece of hipster garbage it is. Because it's not neckbeards most guilty of wearing them, it's hipsters in general.

To use the "proper" framework of a joke: "I fully support the addition of this hilarious emote mocking a small portion of the internet many of the users of this game won't even know shit about! This obscure meme is the utter pinnacle of comedic gold! It is well worth the effort to code and program this asinine joke into the game!"
