It wouldn't really be hijacking the thread since it's just a large change in how the antagonist plays the role, so to keep discussion organized if discussion occurs and to keep a disconnect between the two threads I'd like to ask for the two to be merged if an admin happens to see this.
On to the topic of the game mode, this is a great improvement and I endorse it fully. The only problem I see is the time between stages, goon isn't really known for long rounds and in my opinion the time it takes to evolve is a bit long. Could easily be fixed, though. As for the Alien-type problem this mode would have, if you made it so that 1/4 of those infected by parasites became player controlled and the rest served as an objective that the parasites were supposed to protect then this could work out well.
