Small stuff you wish you had known earlier

That nobody falls for the ol fake-deathgasp-me-doo anymore, dammit.

I fell for it a couple weeks ago. The problem is that you have to be pre-crit so you don't gasp, but you have to get/look hurt enough to make it believable.

In my case, it was somebody 'dying' of breathlessness - complete with several *gasp to set it up.
