https://forum.ss13.co/showthread.php?tid=2981 - Still broken, sort of. Filled a flamethrower with carpet and sprayed it around the chapel. Out of the 220 units I sprayed around, only one measly tile turned carpety. I scanned the floors, and the tiles held carpet in them, upwards of 5 units too!
