I'd say security could have their own special object but I'm not sure people want security carving billy clubs.
edit: Maybe as a balance instead of stunning people/damaging outright, a wooden billy club just sucks up a bunch of stamina after repeated hits making it easier to take someone down. That would keep wood objects as easily accessible but balanced by being weaker. Also you can set them on fire, turning that officer's billy club into fuel for a bond fire.
stocks that work like a chair might be cool as a sec item.
