Blue Rubber Bleb Nevus Syndrome
1: Blue or purplish spots/lesions both internally and externally.
2: Often comes with physical deformations.
3: Has such a goofy name that no one believe it's real till they google it.
I think it would be cool to have a disease that you could easily tell who is infected (blue spots and all...) so the crew could panic properly and ostracize the infected.
From the infected point of view this could be pretty funny chasing around the crew threatening to spread it (so long as the effects are only cosmetic), all the charms of chasing around your little sister with a freshly picked booger on your finger.
