Blue Rubber Bleb Nevus Syndrome

1: Blue or purplish spots/lesions both internally and externally.
2: Often comes with physical deformations.
3: Has such a goofy name that no one believe it's real till they google it.

I think it would be cool to have a disease that you could easily tell who is infected (blue spots and all...) so the crew could panic properly and ostracize the infected.
From the infected point of view this could be pretty funny chasing around the crew threatening to spread it (so long as the effects are only cosmetic), all the charms of chasing around your little sister with a freshly picked booger on your finger.

Chicken Pocks, Red spots appear on your skin, you are always inching them, and you sometimes cluck, and begin doing the chicken dace at random.

Swine Flu, curable by spaceacillin and only causes fever and vomitting, somehow still causes more mass crew panic than a regular cold, vaccines can be purchased for large amounts of cash...

Liver Failure: Lowers toxin purge rate, mild toxin damage, random pain messages, blood vomit, brute damage raises exponentially at later stages (Transmission, excessive ethanol/drug consumption), cure: Calomel/cryoxidone.

Rabies: Causes fear of water (get scary messages when in the pool room), causes bizzare messages in stages 1-2, in stage 3 aggression begins, including random biting and lashing out at other crew members, symptoms obvious by stage 4 where you are foaming at the mouth and taking toxins + brute damage, will die of damage in stage 5 if not treated with spaceacillin.

Dire AID's:Like space AID's but more dire.

Diabetes: Caused by continuous abuse of sugar, suffering from hyperglycemic shock on one or more occasions can cause this condition, cure: none, treatment, insulin.

Bonebreak fever: fever, joint pain, reduced speed, various scary messages, caused by being excessively bitten by rats or hostile fish/bears. In the latter case its usually a lesser concern to the deads...

I kinda agree, given that I think pathology might leave a few heads scratching, especially if the symptoms are out there enough that people are enjoying a challenge.

On the other hand, having a good subset of known illnesses that doctors will know how to cure isn't really a bad thing.

I'm more interested in what crazy symptoms the admins have in mind though. Like internal combustion, or limbs randomly falling off like some kind of flesh eating virus.
