well with werewolves if they were nonhuman they'd be robusted even -faster-. They're nonstealthy, pretty damn weak, and don't have any special powers. Also lizmen are on the same terms as monkey imo when it comes to 'human/nonhuman'. Sure they're nonhuman, but it'd be pretty rude to slaughter them for fun + not food
