The general consensus is that once it is known that traitors are there and using it -- such as by making announcements from it, kidnapping people to it, or being followed there after escaping -- you are free to monitor, assault, or set up traps there as crew. You should not go there and check the doors "just in case" before it is known that traitors are using it; basically act as if you do not know the listening post exists before a traitor somehow leads you to it.

Hi, thanks for the response. I had a thought about the answer and was wondering if there were potentially exceptions that would still follow the general guideline/purpose or "spirit" of metagaming rules. For instance, to cover all bases, could knowledge of Nukie's presence alone be sufficient in certain circumstances? Whether that be nukies announcing their presence on the battleship or conducting their attack on the station and then escaping to hide in the Listening Post without being followed.
