My only reservation is that I haven't seen you take charge much within the Sec team when we've played together.  Of course I've either been HoS/NTSC when on shift together, but my suggestion is to always speak with the HoS who is on and take a leading role in the team to both build your skill set and demonstrate your ability to help your fellow officers and show you have the mettle to handle the beret.  Most HoSii will always be more than willing to play second fiddle and allow promising officers a chance in the limelight.

I really appreciate your feedback!
I have been actively working on taking on a more "leading role" within the security department, organizing duties and regularly asking for status updates of everybody on the force.
Yet I tend to lean back a bit more when there is an active HoS to not step on their toes or undermine their authority, but I suppose every HoS is different and some might not mind it!
