I do personally enjoy interrogating suspects, since you have a lot of RP opportunities available to you, be it classic "Good cop/Bad cop" or laying the evidence down and watching the suspect for clues whether they are telling the truth or not.
Processing prisoners is something that I've become exceptionally fast at over time, decreasing the overall amount of time the person is held rather than in their cell with an active timer.
Generally I play on lowpop more (also due to my timezone) since it gives me a lot more "time" to interact with people more and it's easier to get to know them better.
What I do enjoy is doing both field and office work, writing reports and creating briefings and dossiers or being out on patrol and searching for suspects, I tend to know what is needed most at the time by my gut feeling.
While I would describe myself as "more strict than the average Officer" I do frequently give shortened sentences or general punishment to complying to minor crimes.
Something I also very much enjoy is training new Officers, so much so that I sometimes run at the chance of training the new guy, because if they have even just half as much fun playing Security as I have, it will have been worth it.
I'd also describe Security as a "service job" from time to time, since your main goal is not just "shooting the bad guy" but helping your fellow crewmen in any way you can, Security is a job that many people go to when they have a problem, so you should be ready to assist them how you can.
Overall, there's not many things I haven't done as an Officer, but there is certainly a ton more that I don't know, things I will be glad to learn along the way. 

• What advice would you give to other sec players: The biggest mistake I made as a new Officer was not asking questions, because I didn't want to look stupid. It's better to ask first and then make a mistake, than to make a mistake because you were too afraid to ask. Most people on the Security team are more than happy to train or advise you, do not be afraid to ask and make mistakes   
  
  
• What was one of your favorite security moments: A very specific story comes to mind, it happened not long ago.
  It started off when Central Command sent over some Exo/Mechsuits for everybody, specifically a Security model in this case, Richard was the first person to wear it, there were some reports of these suits making their users crazy, not wanting to believe it, Richard kept wearing the suit. To his luck (or rather demise) the suit was able to take two high caliber shots from a hunting rifle, fired by a suspect he was pursuing. After a long and agonizing surgery, he notices some things, things are different.
  He starts hallucinating, there's dragons and spiders! Not long after the Station is in complete chaos, security is overwhelmed.
  Some reports are coming in, a crazed religious cult is rallying, their goal is to take over the Station and get rid of these evil suits, no matter the cost, even some Security members are part of it.
  Richard seeing the demise of the Station and a collapse of command, he knows there's nothing he can do and the shift was closing to an end.
  He leaves his badge in Security and takes a pod to drown his sorrows at the Space Diner.
  Just as he finished his first drink, an uknown NTSO agent comes up, asking "Are you Harnley?", "Who wants to know?" Richard mumbles. Shortly after, a whole squad of agents appear, all asking for him, they want him to lead them to take back the Station.
  Hesitant at first, he says "Oh what hell" and agrees, an annoucement echoes through the station. He is the new leader of the exile command, some fancy clothes and a saber are beamed in.
  Richard leads the squad back to the Station, taking the teleporter straight to the bridge, where he announces they are taking back control.
  Slowly they clear hall from hall, taking out any revolutionaries in the way.
  Soon they make it to the evac shuttle, bruised and burned, very little of his squad remains.
  Inside the shuttle they are outnumbered, the revolutionaries attack him and his squad.
  Slowly bleeding out inside the Security room of the shuttle, with his squad over him desperately trying to hold off the attack.
  Just seconds before the shuttle docks, Richard perishes. Nobody knows what happened next.
  
  
• What game improvements or changes do you think would benefit security players: More variety. Not just guns and armor, but also uniforms.
  I think that would bring a lot more character development with Security players, being able to express themselves better.
  Something that I also think would help a lot more, a more detailed space law since it currently only contains loose guidelines for recommended jail times. Even though I think it shouldn't be too strict, so Security has more freedom in laying down the law, I think it should have a more detailed lawset.  
  
  

• Write a poem to convey your thoughts on security/NanoTrasen/space/bees/anything related to SS13.:
  Here I lay, with my baton in hand,
  taking orders from command.
  Things did not go as planned,
  We were but undermanned.
  Now I watch over this barren wasteland.
  
• What's a security gimmick that you've ran or wanted to run? : A more judicial based Security team, where court cases are a common form of deciding guilt and punishment.

My only reservation is that I haven't seen you take charge much within the Sec team when we've played together.  Of course I've either been HoS/NTSC when on shift together, but my suggestion is to always speak with the HoS who is on and take a leading role in the team to both build your skill set and demonstrate your ability to help your fellow officers and show you have the mettle to handle the beret.  Most HoSii will always be more than willing to play second fiddle and allow promising officers a chance in the limelight.
