It's fine as a gene instead of a trait, although what I'd actually like is if we would have a trait that lets you start with a specific gene (whitelisted, of course) every round start. Make it cost a decent chunk for people who want specific gimmicks, and let that encourage interaction with geneticists to some degree. Maybe they need to visit genetics throughout the round to maintain it or something.
