Trait: Colored Blood - RSOD - 08-18-2025 "Clearly, that crayon you ate a while ago is starting to have side effects..." basically a -1 trait that gives you a random blood color. That, or, the funnier option, where it constantly changes every few minutes. i feel like we need more positive traits, we have way more negatives than positives!! RE: Trait: Colored Blood - Emimiyu - 08-18-2025 Homestuck We do have the gene for it RE: Trait: Colored Blood - Cleaverwolf - 08-18-2025 On one hand I do enjoy when people with the colorful blood gene bleed everywhere, on the other hand I do wonder what the consensus on turning pre-existing genes into traits is. RE: Trait: Colored Blood - WyrdDoe - 08-18-2025 I suggested on another thread that the cyberspleen should give you white blood like an Alien android. Would be pretty sweet I think. There is not quite a consensus. There are two sides of it. One that dislike them because they further invalidate interaction for funny things (or some mutantraces, cyberlimbs or....) and move characters further away from being coorperate drones. The other side like to have to dressup their characters however they like without interaction with others. I'm more in the first camp. Just ask a geneticist for coloured blood. RE: Trait: Colored Blood - Glamurio - 08-31-2025 It's fine as a gene instead of a trait, although what I'd actually like is if we would have a trait that lets you start with a specific gene (whitelisted, of course) every round start. Make it cost a decent chunk for people who want specific gimmicks, and let that encourage interaction with geneticists to some degree. Maybe they need to visit genetics throughout the round to maintain it or something. |
