Thank you both so much for your feedback on my application! I really do appreciate the time that was taken to provide your thoughts on this.
Lately I have been doing my best to extend my help when I can in fields that I am most comfortable/knowledgeable in, but it has been difficult to find teaching opportunities during my latest shifts that I have had in engineering and have instead been trying to also make the effort to offer my help in the questions channel on Discord.
^ Admittedly, I didn't know that the questions channel existed for the longest time even though I have been in the Discord for quite a while. Some time before I started being active on it, I had been trying to do my best to learn from other answers people have provided to questions that I was not very experienced in. In addition, this has allowed me the opportunity to extend my hand and help when I am unable to hop on the server.
While I am not always able to be around to answer questions, I do try to check back and look through the channel to see what I might have missed and try to learn something outside of my current field of knowledge. An example that I have learned while being more active in the questions channel is learning about the lovely 516 update issues and how best you can go about fixing them! These are issues that impact the player's ability to play, and I have been happy to help when I am able to catch those questions in time!
At the time of writing this, I am continuing to try and aid people when and where I can-- either in game or on Discord. I am always trying my best to keep an open door and help where I can if people reach out or accept the help I normally extend in the radio while on shift.
Thank you both again for the honest feedback, and I will be sure to keep my eye out for more if it comes up.

Quote:Never saw you helping in the discord before your application, not a bad thing mind you, just an observation. It does show you understand that to be a Mentor you have to prove that you can help people, and I appreciate anyone who's willing to take the time to help someone out.
