Shedding some light on TermOS and other computer stuff

There's actually been a bunch of posts (Mostly on SA) about really in-depth stuff for Dwaine and TermOS. I just lump all that in with shit like "Telescience" and "HoS". Anything that requires that big an investment in non-game-actions is just not worth it at all. If I want to stun that dude, I will simply steal a taser and shoot him, instead of coding a packet to spoof the RD's login so I can hack the guardbuddies into attacking him. Too damn much trouble.

This is the crux of the problem really. Why bother doing TermOS when it's bloody difficult when the alternative solution is not only easier but more effective as well.
This crux would be invalid of course, if there were unique actions you could do with the TermOS, like suggested, (or if already pre-existing too)
