Mental Health and Goonstation
#5
It definitely can get quite tempting to associate a character with another person or oneself, to which one method I use is to simply distance oneself from the character by referring to them in third person instead of first person: for example, "Wow, Kigz really was a monster that round. He absolutely ate everything in the kitchen."

As fun as goonstation is to play, there are other games as well to enjoy. What makes an experience dull is if it is constantly repeated, instead of adding some variety on how it is done, or simply taking a break and try out a different medium.

For the most part, I have gone through some of these unhealthy habits before, and plan on changing them as to truly enjoy Space Station 13 without seeing it as a chore nor as the only place to hang out with friends. Perhaps the initial excitement of playing the game will return after spending some time away from it.

I also have some bad news... I just lost the game :[
