Here's a lil tip for everyone (especially on the Roleplay servers):
DO NOT ROLEPLAY AS A CHARATER THAT REPRESENTS YOU!
It might have a part of you, but never have it be more then 10%-20% yourself.
The more it's you or a loved one.. the more heartbreaking and disturbing it gets.
I for one play several charaters.
A hive of "Selena James" roach charaters with all different personality traits who all believe they are the roach goddess. Though they do not act on it much anymore unless it feels fitting.
A calcium obessed cow with a green afro and beard. Means very well.
A skeleton guy who is... mostly normal till his head is off. Abit of a multitasker.
A depressed man who will be the most miserable and depressed at his job. Mostly a clown.. a sad clown... cause sad clowns are FUNNY! (I play this one the least, his name is Exten STAN ial. Or just Stan.)
The reason you avoid being yourself or someone you care for in game... when you are in the wrong headspace, their fate to the game can be soul crushing.
While the reverse can be funny... being your worst enemy and throwing them into awful death after death after death to laugh can help.. but is not a good coping mechanism...
Roleplay as a charater who is fun and fits in. And most importantly... keep ties of real life out. Not only is it better for yourself.. but keeps the immersion stronger.
Keep this game as detached from reality as possible for your own sake!
