If we're on the subject of grenades, what if we have an EM pulser rather than a box of grenades that you're apparently supposed to throw? It'd be a little box you hold and sends a EMP out that fucks everything up around you. Downside is it messes with your own equipment as well.

It could be balanced by having a set number of pulses equal to grenades in a box, or need to be recharged.
