make EMP less obvious - mozi - 08-23-2013 EMP grenades seem like they could be used for some cool subterfuge (shutting down cameras, breaking into places, silencing radios) but they make a big spammy visible mess that immediately alerts people "TRAITOR!!! be on guard!!" imho the blast should be near invisible, machines hit by them should just shut down as if there was a powerloss instead of shooting off a million sparks, headsets should shut down silently (as radio jammers do), & cameras hit by EMP should look normal instead of having a big obvious blue glow Re: make EMP less obvious - Conor12 - 08-23-2013 A great idea. Currently, no-one uses EMP grenades, unless they want the guardbuddies to arrest everyone. This would make it a nice option for stealthy players. Re: make EMP less obvious - david2222121 - 08-23-2013 If we're on the subject of grenades, what if we have an EM pulser rather than a box of grenades that you're apparently supposed to throw? It'd be a little box you hold and sends a EMP out that fucks everything up around you. Downside is it messes with your own equipment as well. It could be balanced by having a set number of pulses equal to grenades in a box, or need to be recharged.
