I particularly like the double patch idea, I'm a bit surprised it isn't a thing already!
The prescription eyepatch idea doesn't particularly appeal to me, but I don't see anything wrong with it either. Maybe it could be craftable with a poked-through eyepatch and a pair of glasses? Come to think of it, does the poked-through eyepatch have a different sprite? In which case a corrective eyepatch could be a good compromise.
