So I load the game up, magically end up on some space station, via some spaceship, and I didn't even get to enjoy the ride.
Soon enough, some dude pushes me down, takes the money out of my pocket and runs. I of course try to make chase, but they eventually run off.
Security isn't anywhere to be seen, and I'm not about to go looking for them when it's a huge station, and I have no idea where I'm supposed to be.
I end up next to what I think is medbay, and some dude offers to cut my arm off. Disgusted, I decline, and continue walking on. it's not even two minutes before I hear a loud bang, and that's all I hear for a while after. as my PDA blows up and my character lays on the floor, presumably in pain, and I'm pretty sure I'm being looted.
I eventually make my way to medbay, where some little robot thing injects me with stuff, and it apperently heals me. I go pepper off to see the other sights, only to see two crewmen trying to punch eachother out. I try to get involved and I get knocked out, choked to death, and thrown out of the station. Such is the end of my Space station 13 experience.
Graphics 5/10.
They range from good to mediocre, with some of the things looking really nice for the artstyle, and some of it just being passable.
Gameplay 8/10. Surprisingly, parts of the game are actually well thought out, aside from the bits of random chaos that happen every round.
Other players 5/10.
The players make the game, and you aren't really sure if someone's going to mug you, make an awful joke, or throw you out the airlock to your death. On the bright side, sometimes they'll help you.
Overall 7/10. While you are more likely to be murdered then complete a round, Space station 13 is a wonderful and chaotic clash of roleplay, party game, and science fiction that's sure to either freak you out, mildly amuse you, or get you deeply involved in one of the game's many available roles.
/The story part never actually happened, I just went by the worst possible things to happen for the context of a playtest going horribly wrong.
