This change lets Prodoc cybereyes do the same sort of health scan that upgraded prodoc glasses do. I feel this is warranted because there is currently very little reason to use the cybereye variant, particularly over other cybereyes like the lasers or thermals (if combined with sunglasses).
I considered creating a Prodoc Plus type of cybereye instead, but that would just make the base model even more obsolete.
