Seemingly at random, sometimes buckling into chairs stops you from using your little toggle buttons for things like lights or oxygen. It's not different types of chairs, and it's not the same chairs, it seems to be a completely random chance.

Speaking of weird things when buckling people into chairs, buckling someone into chairs causes the game to treat them like they're wearing magboots now.
Gone are the days of buckling a person to a chair and chair diving into them. This magboot-like status remains even if the chair is unscrewed from the floor, which results in... Weirdness... with teleportation.

That would explain why I've had so much trouble as an AI shell with my normal shuttle tactic of 'buckle them to a shuttle chair, unscrew the chair and push it out an airlock before they figure it out'

Also, if you buckle someone to the chair, then load the chair onto the cargo cart, they don't go with it and are free to walk away. You can unload the chair from the cargo cart, and as soon as you physically pull it the person is instantly teleported back into the chair.

cargo carts should've never made it to live

It's not cargo carts that are causing this but rather
anything that causes someone to be disconnected from the chair without them specifically clicking to unbuckle themselves from the chair.

Its a problem with unfastened chairs. Players stay buckled and teleport to them when they are moved regardless of whether they're still on the same tile or not. You can be buckled into multiple chairs and get teleported whenever any of them is moved.

That last bit can just be fixed by checking if the players' buckled chair is the chair that moved.
