Customization mirror on the wizard shuttle, wizard glam in general

would love to see the Wizard-Kneecapping Measure get moved to something other than a beard, yeah. I get that it's a fun joke but it's like, weirdly out of place with a lot of modern-day goonstation's direction. sure it's Soul but it's also an actively dysphoric thing for a lot of people, and I'm sure that we can find something equally silly that doesn't hit those same notes

I would like to clarify I am not AGAINST this change, I just wanted to give some info. I believe that wizards need both their hat and robe, so i usually default to removing the hat if disarming a wizard.

I don't have any reason to fight for keeping wizards needing beards, so I would be fine with the need for a beard to be removed. But I would like there to be, as waffle said a shifting of the "Wizard-Kneecapping Measure".

I would personally like it if this new measure had to be done by either the chaplain, or if procuring the ingredients for it involved the cooperation of other departments like sci or botany, cause you know we LOVE it when security gets more reasons to interact with the crew.

If we want wizards with no beards.. why not make it a spell called "See-through Beard"

The beard is still there to be shaved, but it's invisible. As long as you know the wizard can cast magic without it...

The funny thing is.. there are outfits that hide the beard too like hoods.

Adding beard customsation for wizards is just a nice touch. I always wanted to see pink bearded wizards.

It wouldn't waste a spell slot, you spawn with it for free.

That feels, convoluted and doesnt really make any sense. It would be better to just remove the arcane shame bioeffect linked to beards getting shaved and giving customization options, like was mentioned with a mirror or the like.
