to make this work there would need to be a camera PDA module.

in messages there would be a section labeled something more imaginative than "imageboard"

any images you take with pda camera automatically get uploaded to the image board, which can then be commented on.

This would be pretty funny. would be moderated by research director. (via special pda software that you need RD access to access)

Imagined uses:
clown spams loads of banana pictures and gets banned by RD. Clown gets revenge and steals RDs pda and ID and continues spam
Security put up wanted posters
botany advertise their new crop of omegaweed
Staff assistant puts up live pictures from wrestling match
syndicate make fake reports

The difference is having a camera attached to everybody's pda and a system where anybody with a pda can see that photo(imageboard would work well).
communication-wise, physical photos are to digtal photos, what letters are to telephone conversations.
imagine if there was no radio and the crew could only send letters to communicate?
well imagine if there was no way of sharing photos on your pda and the crew has to send the photo around and you only have one copy of it.
this is the current situation and it doesn't make sense.
