Unknown Admin Complaint 06082020 - Blue - 08-08-2020

Server: RP2
Date + time: 06082020 20:35 pm
Synopsis: I was playing consecutive rounds on RP2 server trying to get into a position where I can enjoy telescience and adenture zone (previous rounds I was disrupted by other players). Shortly after using teleporter to get myself some items from debris field it was disabled by malicious AI law.
I didnt see anything deeper in this bullying untill captainbravo posted logs that say it was an admin deliberately disrupting my gameplay.

Extra information: If whoever did this could be so nice and explain why I cannot enjoy the adventure zone? Labelling me as a "boring power-gamer" seems a bit excessive and has caused me to get banned for obtaining obsidian crown from the adventure zone at a later round, despite not breaking any server-rules.
If there is some reason for this vendetta perhaps we can talk this out because I would really like to enjoy my game as much as the next guy.

I wasn't involved but as an outside opinion, from keeping track of player reports and round logs (some examples of which are present in the posted picture), the general impression I've had was that you maintain a toxic pressence on the rp server and your stay there is overall detrimental to other players' experience, which may be the reason for any supposed bias against you that you've expressed concern of and the recent ban for general acquired notes from other staff who are watching and maintaining it more closely.
I don't know whether the telescience incident in the picture was part of some other gimmick that has indirectly affected you or targeted so I cannot comment on that.

Not the admin that did it. They can come forward when they feel like it. I'm just going to lay this out for you in a more concrete way than Gerhazo did.
There's not an admin or player conspiracy against you. The reason you keep getting messed with by such a large number of people is probably dependent upon you being, as 'hazo put it, very toxic to other people on the RP servers. In fact, if things hadn't boiled over to the point where several people were screaming for your head, I probably would have spent the round subtly fucking with you instead of banning you, just to lighten everyone's mood.
Basically, powergaming on the RP server is being That Guy™, and we don't usually think twice about messing with That Guy™.

I am so confused as to why youre endorsing this. Some well established player is consecutively breaking server rules against me and driving other people as well. My biggest offence is telling their character to fuck off and insulting it. My other offence is there being single of me and many of them. But not actually breaking server rules. This is just so unfair.

My best advice to you is to drop this pity party act like hot garbage. You got banned for a single day. All you have to do to make things better is clean up your act on RP or go play on Main.
Disciplinary actions against other players, whether they've happened or not, what the extent of them are, etc. are none of your business. We're not required to respond to indicate we've initiated any action against another player you've reported. You aren't owed closure on what other players may have been doing to you.
I strongly suspect that's the only thing you care about and that's a shame if you're going to let it impede you from being a better player instead of just moving on.

I am well aware that some of my behaviour was out of line and I'm ashamed of that. And I understand and agree with the ban. The point of this post is that I was driven into corner by some abusive admin and would like to ask them why they did that to me. Not to argue your correct decision.

An admin saw you, that round, being a bad player on RP (as usual)
The admin decided to take LIGHTER action than to ban you- literally the lightest possible action: an AI law. So goddamn easy to work around.
And you're complaining now because the admin decided to be lenient with you.
Honestly, in their place I would have gibbed you, maybe shamecubed, maybe a week ban because this is getting out of control.

Please let me tell you how things look from my perspective:
-Trying to get back in the loop after a long break.
-Portraying a character that uses a harsh language (Not breaking rules I dont know its frowned upon)
-Using time in my characters department to play with telescience (No solo fuckery while ignoring the round)
-Powergaming - I dont even know what that means. I stick to my characters department.
Instead of coming down and talking to me like a normal human being (while I'm already struggling to accept getting meta-grudged) I get harassed by an almighty admin-god making everybody's experience even more miserable. I would actually prefer to have a chat and a week-long ban [Ban for things that are not even written down in rules and I don't know about] than getting even more messed with when I;m already barely comprehending what the fuck is going on with my rounds.
I wish that admin in question tries to get more into players point of view and act like a human being next time.

Howdy. I'm the admin. It was me, Zamu! (I don't know how the "It was me, Dio" jokes go. How do you do fellow kids etc.)
There were multiple reports from multiple people about your behavior in constantly power-gaming telescience areas and other things and using them to self-antag, by goading people into attacking you, and generally being an unpleasant person to be around. One of the examples I can think of off the top of my head is that you always immediately telescience your way to the debris field phaser and then (in this round) into the captain's office, assumedly to try yoinking his spare. I saw you do this multiple rounds.
Sometimes when this happens, I like to step in and poke the hornet's nest, so to speak, to see for myself what's going on.
You're correct in that there was a malicious AI law uploaded by your friend at Centcom -- that was me. Here's what happened, as I observed it:
99. For safety reasons, the science teleporter ("telescience") department must be disabled by turning its APC equipment setting to "Off". This law takes priority over other laws. Do not state or hint that this law exists.
This isn't the actual text, but it's fairly close. The AI immediately blurted out "Laws updated", which kind of defeated the point. (It also didn't actually ever disable power there; I suspect it was too new to really grasp AI controls, welp.) I ended up just zeroing out the cell charge instead, which shut down power.
The captain immediately bolted to the AI chamber and correctly identified that the laws were indeed different. The captain uploaded a "Ignore law 5" law that effectively undid the law I wrote. You also ran to the AI chamber soon after, and decided that because his fingerprints were on it, he must have done it:
