Being polymorphed in the murderbox by a wizard teleports you to the station in a polymorphed form, you are able to do everything a normal polymorph victim is able to do.

Experienced this too, and it's pretty annoying; since critters can't use VR, you can't go back to whatever VR shenanigans you were doing, unless you like suicide and join as a virtual spectre or become a human again.
Sounds like it might have the same root cause as this bug.
