Sound Files for AI? - RedMan - 05-28-2019 I think the AI should receive some form of audio files when it talks or even TTS (I know a good website where you can get decent TTS based voices which twitch streamers often use). I personally think sounds make the game a bit more interesting and with the AI speaking gibberish about monkeys, I think it would be lit. (I am going to be honest, I think it would be cool for the AI to sound like this) http://overwikifiles.com/files/Overwatch_Voice/Over_camp.ogg http://overwikifiles.com/files/Overwatch_Voice/Over_vista.ogg http://overwikifiles.com/files/Overwatch_Voice/Over_barn.ogg or something like this http://overwikifiles.com/files/Overwatch_Voice/F_anticivilevidence_3_spkr.ogg http://overwikifiles.com/files/Overwatch_Voice/F_anticitizenreport_spkr.ogg and when speaking to the radio I guess the audio can be a bit modified to sound like this: http://overwikifiles.com/files/Overwatch_Voice/Amputate_ovoice.ogg http://overwikifiles.com/files/Overwatch_Voice/Failuretotreatoutbreak_ovoice.ogg And yes these are links to the 'Overwatch' voice you hear throughout half life 2 RE: Sound Files for AI? - cyberTripping - 05-28-2019 We already have VOX, it's just not available usually, presumably to prevent audio spam. I think the creator of VOX abandoned the project, since the last time he was active was in 2017 RE: Sound Files for AI? - NateTheSquid - 05-28-2019 even if that were true, which i don't believe it is, vox is still usable, just admin only, and it has an ass load of words RE: Sound Files for AI? - MrMagolor - 05-29-2019 On a related note, having vox be hard-loaded, instead of having to download each time you use it, would fix those annoying bugs with words being said out of order. |
